The BMW Championship runs Thursday, August 20 through Sunday, August 23 at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, a par-70 course measuring 7,448 yards that last hosted a PGA Tour event in 2008 and a major in 2018.
The $20 million purse is the second leg of the FedExCup Playoffs, and the field has already been trimmed to 50 players with no 36-hole cut.
Kalshi traders have Scottie Scheffler priced at 24% to win, as of this writing. The BMW Championship winner market has drawn more than $24.7 million in trading volume.

Scheffler arrives off an eight-shot win at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, a tournament in which he tied the course record with a 61 in the second round. He is also the defending BMW Championship winner, having taken his 2025 title at Caves Valley by two shots after Robert MacIntyre could not hold a four-shot lead.
No player has repeated as BMW Championship winner since Patrick Cantlay went back to back in 2021 and 2022, a stat working against Scheffler even as the market makes him the heaviest favorite on the board.
Rory McIlroy sits second on the market at 5.4%, more than four times lower than Scheffler despite chasing a fourth career FedExCup. Xander Schauffele is third at 5.3%, with Ludvig Aberg at 5.2%, Cameron Young at 4.3% and Sam Burns at 4.2% rounding out the group closest behind the top three. Only the top 30 players in FedExCup points after Sunday's round advance to the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake, and the cutline for that final spot is tight.
Bellerive is new to essentially the entire field, removing any course-history edge that might otherwise favor one player over another. The layout's length and rough are being described as closer to major-championship conditions than a typical birdie-heavy Tour stop, a setup that could compress the gap between Scheffler and the chasing group by Sunday.
