Atlanta Falcons vs. Indianapolis Colts, Saturday, August 22, 2026
Kalshi's market has the Colts as a heavy favorite at 65% to Atlanta's 36%, as of this writing. The gap tracks with Atlanta's thin pass rush, with both James Pearce Jr. and Jalon Walker unavailable, against a Colts offense that looked sharp in practice this week.
According to Kalshi's 2026 NFL market-implied power rankings, Atlanta enters as the No. 23 team in the league while Indianapolis ranks 24th, two of the most evenly matched teams by Power Score on this week's preseason slate.
Atlanta's injury news is mostly positive: linebacker Divine Deablo returned to practice this week after missing time with a rolled ankle, while edge rusher Jalon Walker remains out for the season and James Pearce Jr. is also unavailable. Indianapolis' report centers on rookie linebacker CJ Allen, whose camp has been interrupted by two separate injuries, leaving the position without a clearly established regular.
The top story this week is at quarterback for Indianapolis. Daniel Jones went a perfect 15-of-15 in Wednesday's joint practice, his clearest sign yet that he has fully recovered from the Achilles tear that ended his 2025 season in December. Jones is not expected to play Saturday but is on track to be the Week 1 starter.
That leaves Saturday's game to the backups and roster hopefuls on both sides. Atlanta is still sorting its own quarterback competition behind Tagovailoa, while Indianapolis will again lean on Anthony Richardson and the rest of its depth chart with Jones held out of live action for a second straight week.

Indianapolis is priced at 51% to win by more than 3.5 points, as of this writing.
