The Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers are squaring off in a rematch of the 2025 National League Championship Series. This year, the Brewers are hoping for a different result, seeking to knock off the preseason (and current) title favorite in the process.
As it stands, the Brewers hold a 1-0 series lead after defeating the Dodgers in Game 1 at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Sunday.
While they'll try to extend that lead to 2-0 on Monday, Kalshi traders make the Dodgers the favorite to level the series in Game 2, pricing them at 56% ahead of Monday's affair.

Brewers best Skubal, earn Game 1 victory
The Brewers completely flipped the script on last year's NLCS. After being swept in four straight games last season, the Brewers turned to likely NL Cy Young winner and flamethrower Jacob Misiorowski in Game 1 on Sunday.
True to form, Misiorowski was able to shut down the potent Dodger offense, throwing 4.1 innings and allowing just one run.
Dodger left-hander Tarik Skubal almost matched the effort, allowing just two runs over five innings of work. But those two runs would be enough.
Behind a scoreless effort from their dominant high-leverage relievers, the Brewers wiggled out of a ninth inning jam and clinched Game 1 in their home ballpark.
Dodgers turn to Yoshinobu Yamamoto to even NLCS in Game 2
Milwaukee will have their work cut out for them in Game 2 though, needing to knock off another ace in Yoshinobu Yamamoto. After earning World Series MVP honors last year and dazzling across the entire postseason, Yamamoto flourished again this year pitching to a 2.53 ERA across 28 starts.
The right-hander last pitched Game 3 of the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves, allowing just one run across seven innings. After the Game 1 loss, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts expressed confidence ahead of Yamamoto’s outing.
“We've just got to reset,” said Roberts. “We've got our guy going tomorrow, who we trust undoubtedly.”
Kalshi traders are backing the Dodgers as well, pricing them at 56% to win Game 2 and even the series.
On the other side, the Brewers will turn to young right-hander Logan Henderson. The 24-year-old pitched twice against the Dodgers this season, allowing just one run over the course of 12 innings.
But the stakes will be higher on Monday and despite being muted in Game 1, the Dodgers tied the Brewers for tops in the league in wRC+ against right-handed pitching.
Of note for a Dodgers offense in need of runs, former MVPs Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman are both nursing injuries that may have them at less than their best.
Dodgers maintain slight edge in World Series odds
Despite dropping Game 1, the Dodgers are still the favorites to win the World Series according to Kalshi traders.
Odds for the team stand at 35.6% at the time of writing, compared to 33.6% for the Brewers. That represents a jump of around 10 percentage points in favor of Milwaukee since the series began.
The teams will play at least three more games against each other in the best-of-seven series, where the winner will meet the winner of the series between the Cleveland Guardians and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Kalshi traders make the Rays the third most likely team to hoist the trophy, with odds trading around 22.6% on Monday.
