Ohio State played Maryland without six starters, including offensive linemen Austin Siereveld and Phillip Daniels. Coach Ryan Day said the Buckeyes should get a good portion of those players back for Indiana but not all of them. Daniels has missed four straight games since an injury against Texas and is expected to have a full week of practice. Siereveld was ruled out hours before the Maryland kickoff with an illness and is day-to-day, per Essentially Sports.
Indiana won 20-17 at Nebraska for its 22nd straight victory after trailing 10-3 at halftime. The Hoosiers finished with season lows of 65 rushing yards and 328 total yards.
Ohio State attempted just 21 passes in its 45-16 win over Maryland and leaned on the run more than usual, per A to Z Sports.
