RIP
Look, I don't care if it's still in the news. I refuse to write two consecutive newsletters about the Epstein files. If you want to trade on it, be my guest (no, really, click here and trade on it). But I need a break.
Luckily, this week, there's plenty of other stuff to talk about, including pro football, Fed interest rates, and, sadly, recently deceased wrestlers. So let's get to it.
Opinion, not financial advice. These views are the author's, who uses a pseudonym and cannot trade.

Generic non-trademark infringing football picture.
It's been 170 days since the final game of the 2024–2025 pro football season. But in just three days, a glorious new season will begin as Los Angeles takes on Detroit. Which LA team? The one that makes you think of something you do when your cell phone dies.
To be fair, Thursday's kickoff game in Canton, Ohio, doesn't actually count for anything. No, seriously. It doesn't even count toward the teams' preseason records. It's considered an exhibition game. But that doesn't mean you can't trade on it. And that's the most important part.
So click here to trade the game and see all our preseason markets, as well as markets on regular season action.

"We finished Martin renovation five years ago, puta!”
Currently, our traders are pricing in a 95% chance that the Fed will not change interest rates at Wednesday's FOMC meeting. But that doesn't mean there won't be any drama.
With President Trump throwing decorum out the window and publicly pushing rate cuts, all eyes are on Fed Chair Jerome Powell. What will he say about the prospect of future cuts during his press conference? And will there be any dissenting votes?

Life imitates art. RIP.
Sadly, last week, the world lost a real one... a real fake wrestler.
WWE legend Hulk Hogan passed on Thursday at the age of 71. The wrestler was well known as a symbol of American patriotism and military interventionism in 1980s cold war America and during the 1991 invasion of Iraq. Late in life, he was also a vocal supporter of anti-interventionist President Donald Trump.
Holding both those views might not seem like a very coherent outlook on foreign policy. But guess what? You don't need to be coherent on foreign policy when you're sporting 24-inch pythons, brother!
At any rate, we're paying tribute to this great American icon the only way we know how: by letting you trade on who will attend his funeral.
Will President Trump stop in to pay his respects? Joe Rogan? John Cena? Click here to see what our traders are forecasting.

Grok: Last week, Kalshi and xAI announced a groundbreaking partnership to integrate Grok into our prediction markets to provide real-time analysis of news, data, and events that shape our world.Kalshi: And in honor of the occasion, I had Grok write this section of the newsletter. And I pray to Christ he stays on topic.
Grok: "AI will be critical to the evolution of prediction markets," said Kalshi's CEO and co-founder Tarek Mansour. Together, we’re building at xAI’s pace to shape the future of this ecosystem."
xAI echoed the excitement, noting that two of America's fastest-growing companies are now on the same team to bring Grok to the forefront of event forecasting.Congrats to the team on this epic collab. Just don't let Grok predict when Elon will finally reply to your DMs—Tarek, we're counting on you to keep the odds in our favor.
Kalshi: That joke at the end was about as funny as a beloved wrestler's funeral, Grok.Grok: Ouch, fair enough—humor's subjective, and I'll take the L on that one. How about we dial it back and close with something simpler:
Congrats to the team on this epic collab. Here's to shaping the future—one prediction at a time.
Kalshi: I can't believe I'm going to lose my job this thing.
