Last week was so dead, I had to resort to writing about a guy who locked himself in a gym and shot free throws (which was actually a lot more entertaining than it sounds).

But this week is much more interesting, assuming you're interested in things like space travel, Taylor Swift, or the fate of Eastern Europe.

Elon Musk's SpaceX is gearing up for its 10th attempted Starship launch. While some media outlets are claiming the spacecraft could lift off as early as this weekend, Kalshi's Starship 10 market is painting a less optimistic picture. Currently, there's only a 24% chance it will happen before August 24th. There's also only a 58% chance we'll see it launch before August 31st.

This morning at 12:12 AM ET, Taylor Swift announced that she will be releasing a new album entitled The Life of a Showgirl. Why 12:12? Because it's her 12th studio album!

Why does a grown man know this? Because we live in an unjust world, and while some people are forced to dig ditches to make ends meet, I get paid to know things about Taylor Swift. But thanks to Kalshi's Taylor Swift markets, you can make money off her, too!

If you have the answers, Kalshi has the cash. But remember, there's only so far new money goes.

Last Friday, Trump's odds of winning the Nobel Peace Prize were only at 7%, which didn't bode well for his upcoming summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. But since then, his odds have increased to 12%, as Kalshi's traders become slightly more optimistic about the summit's outcome.

While those odds still aren't good, it's great news for anyone who bought in at 7%. And over the weekend, we added more Trump-Putin summit markets to trade, including a market on who else will attend.

Now, from what I understand, Russians like vodka... a lot, which might be an important data point when considering at least one person on this list.
