The James Beard Awards: It's like the AVN Awards, but for food!
Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few days, you probably know that war has broken out in the Middle East... again. I haven't been living under a rock, but I did spend the past week in rural Wisconsin, which is very similar, so I'm a little out of the loop.
Kalshi traders also seem uncertain as to how things will play out, and are split nearly down the middle on whether, despite the current violence between Israel and Iran, Iran and the U.S. will sign a nuclear deal this year.

While rural Wisconsin might be far removed from the situation in the Middle East, its citizens are very plugged into the politics of midtown Manhattan. From bait shops to dive bars to supper clubs, Zohran fever is gripping the Badger State.
OK, fine. Most people outside of New York don't give a good god damn about a New York City mayoral election primary. But if you're this far into a prediction market newsletter, I'm guessing you're not like most people, and have at least a passing interest in, if not some open positions on, whether Mamdani can upset Andrew "I'm not perverted, I'm just Italian," Cuomo.
While Zohran's odds recently surged to nearly 40%, Cuomo has regained momentum in our NYC Mayor Dem nominee market. He currently has a 69% (MADONE!) chance of winning.

"I'm not a manic-depressive degenerate, I'm Slovak-Croatian!"
A lot has happened over the past few weeks. Riots in L.A. War in the Middle East. The richest man in the world insinuating that the POTUS is an Epstein accomplice. But now it's time to tune out that noise and focus on something important: The James Beard Awards (a.k.a. the Oscars of food).
Who will be crowned 2025's Most Outstanding Chef? Who will win the title for Best New Restaurant?
Click here to trade these markets and more (well, just one more) before tonight's award ceremony.

📣 Kalshi's revolutionary AI ad goes viral

Last week, Kalshi unveiled its newest ad during Game 3 of the OKC vs. Indiana basketball championship series. The commercial quickly went viral, not only because of its surreal content, but also because of the way that content was created.
In a matter of days, the 30-second spot was created using Google’s latest AI video generator, Veo 3. And when the dust settled, the 100% AI-generated ad cost only $2,000 to make.

So, after revolutionizing the world of finance by paving the way for legal election and sports trading, Kalshi is now using AI to disrupt the advertising industry.
Luckily for me, AI still can't replicate a decent prediction market newsletter. The technology just isn't there yet.
