Scott Jennings remains the frontrunner on Kalshi's next White House press secretary market, but his price has fallen after the CNN commentator publicly downplayed speculation that he could get the job.
Jennings currently leads at 30% on the Press Secretary market, followed by Anna Kelly at 17% and Margo Martin at 11%.

Jennings' name has been at the top of the list since attorney Alina Habba denied that she's being considered to replace Karoline Leavitt as press secretary.
Jennings is also one of the more recognizable names on the market since he regularly appears as a conservative commentator on CNN. Even though he’s leading on the market, Jennings’ price dipped a bit because he didn’t confirm he was even in the running in a recent CNN interview.
The Hill's Max Rego reported that Jennings was asked about the job and whether or not he's being considered for it on CNN's State of the Union.
Jennings downplayed the possibility, saying, “I don’t know what’s going to happen.” He later added, “I don’t have anything to say about it this morning,” and called Leavitt “one of the best press secretaries in the…modern era.”
Jennings still ranks high on the market because President Donald Trump tends to pick television personalities for cabinet and high-level administration positions. Examples include Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, a former Fox News host, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz, who previously hosted a syndicated television show.
AL.com's Howard Koplowitz reported that President Trump called Jennings 'good' when asked whether he was considering him for the job at a South Carolina rally for Republican senatorial candidate Darline Graham.
Anna Kelly
White House deputy press secretary Anna Kelly already works in the administration and could simply be elevated to the top press job.
The Economic Times reports that Kelly joined the Trump administration in January 2025. She also served in communications roles for Rep. Derrick Van Orden, the Wisconsin gubernatorial campaign for Tim Michels in 2022, and the Republican Party of Wisconsin.
Margo Martin
Martin is another name that President Trump has floated as a possible replacement for Leavitt.
AL.com also reported that President Trump mentioned Martin as a candidate when asked about the position during the same appearance at Graham's South Carolina rally.
“I dunno,” President Trump said. “Maybe Margo? What do you think of Margo? Maybe Margo.”
Martin works as a special assistant and a communications advisor to the president. The Washington Post's Dylan Wells wrote a profile on Martin in January 2026. Wells described Martin as "a little-known aide to President Donald Trump [who] has become one of the GOP's most influential content creators." She filmed some viral moments featuring President Trump "dancing on a tarmac in Malaysia, serving French fries at McDonald's on the campaign trail and greeting small children in the Oval Office."
