The list of nominations for the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards will be revealed on Monday morning at 8:00 AM EST. Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall will announce the nominees for all 28 categories on CBSNews.com and the CBS News YouTube and TikTok channels. The award ceremony itself will not be held until Jan. 11, 2026 with comedian Nikki Glaser returning as host.

And the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture goes to…

The musical Wicked: For Good leads the market for Golden Globe nominations at 75 cents. Last year, the first Wicked film received four Golden Globe nominations but only won one award for Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

The Netflix mystery movie Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery sits in second place at 55 cents followed by the South Korean thriller No Other Choice in a close third at 50 cents.

No Other Choice star Lee Byung-hun, best known for his role as the Front Man on Netflix’s Squid Game, leads trading in the Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy nomination market at 49 cents over Knives Out star Daniel Craig at 32 cents.

Predictions are much closer for the best dramatic film prediction market. The Brazilian political thriller The Secret Agent leads the pack with 51 cents, but it fell 13 cents during yesterday’s trading. The Netflix drama Train Dreams narrowed the gap at 45 cents after an 11 cent increase in trading.

Television?

Prediction markets for the Golden Globe nominations for television shows are moving in opposite directions with a wide margin for TV drama nominees and a closer gap for TV comedy or musical nominees. The Netflix romantic comedy Nobody Wants This starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell sits at 72 cents followed closely by FX’s restaurant comedy-drama The Bear at 67 cents.

Meanwhile, in the dramatic TV nomination market, HBO’s crime drama Task starring Mark Ruffalo leads with 66 cents. Apple TV’s British spy thriller Slow Horses starring Gary Oldman sits in second place at 36 cents and The Morning Show starring Jennifer Aniston sits in third place at 20 cents.

It’s an honor just to be nominated…

Daniel Day-Lewis rounds out the rest of the Best Actor in a Drama nomination market for his performance in Anemone that’s currently leading at 45 cents. Will Arnett sits only 5 cents behind him for his role in director Bradley Cooper’s Is This Thing On?

Traders also put Laura Dern at the top of the Best Actress in a dramatic film nomination market at 51 cents for her role in Is This Thing On?

The Pitt’s Noah Wylie and Severance’s Britt Lower are leading in their respective prediction markets for the best actor and best actress in a dramatic TV show nomination.

Chad Powers’s Glen Powell and Only Murders in the Building’s Selena Gomez are also in contention in the nomination markets for best performances in a musical or comedy TV show. Both shows are on the streaming network Hulu.
