Big Brother odds: Barrett, Melody lead Week 10 elimination market

It is Week 10 of Big Brother, and Melody Morris and Barrett Pfeiffer lead Kalshi's elimination market ahead of Thursday night's double eviction.

Melody leads at 58%, followed closely by Barrett at 54% and Yash Patel at 35%, as of this writing.

Tonight’s episode of Big Brother will feature a double eviction.

Big Brother Network identified Barrett as the likely target if he remained vulnerable before the Block Buster competition.

“Once Drew was off the options list, the target moved over to Barrett, so he will definitely need tonight’s Block Buster competition, the last of the entire season,” Big Brother Network wrote. “Phew! Glad to have that thing gone, though it certainly served its purpose. Once we’re at F7, or really I’d say at the Jury phase, it’s time to cut all the second chances and let Big Brother play.”

Barrett has spent the week trying to improve his position with Dee Valladares and Rick Devens as his alliance with Melody has shown signs of strain.

Big Brother Junkies reported that, for starters, Barrett did not get his laundry back “that was sent off to be cleaned from his [Head of Household].” So, he was already in a mood as Barrett also approached Dee Valladares and Rick Devens about potentially working together.

“It was pretty generic and involved being a shield for them, and he said he would do whatever they wanted moving forward,” Big Brother Junkies wrote. “He also mentioned how [Rick] shouldn’t want the guys that stayed in the veto comp for 13 hours to remain in the game.”

Barrett has also been keeping his eye on Melody as their alliance shows signs of strain ahead of tonight’s eviction.

Taylor Brown won the final Block Buster competition of the season, removing himself from danger and leaving Barrett and Melody vulnerable ahead of the first vote. Big Brother Network reported that the majority of the remaining voters agreed that Barrett should be the one to go.

“Barrett has had more success than Melody in comps, and the Vets haven’t forgotten (or forgiven) his move last week against them,” Big Brother Network wrote.

Taylor’s Block Buster win leaves Barrett in a difficult position heading into the vote. Big Brother Network reported that Barrett had emerged as the primary target after Taylor secured his safety.

The first eviction will be followed by another round of competition and voting as part of Thursday night’s double eviction.

The winner market has also shifted since Week 9. Dee has climbed from 18% to 27% and retaken the lead, while Rick and Yash are now tied for second at 20% each. Yash previously led the market at 26%.

The double eviction could shake up those prices again Thursday night, with Melody and Barrett leading the elimination market while Dee holds a seven-point advantage over Rick and Yash on the Season 28 winner market.
