The eviction market for Week 4 prices Lyric at 56%, with Melody Morris close behind at 43% and Drew Campbell at 8%, setting up what could be a tense final vote before Thursday’s live episode.
Dee is still in the lead on the Season 28 winner at market but Rick is closing the gap. Dee is priced at 25%, followed by Rick at 17%, and Yash at 8%.
The Power of Veto
Taylor won the Power of Veto in the poison murder mystery challenge. It appears Melody's standing in the house may be slipping.
Big Brother Network’s recap shows that Melody joined the veto competition “through Houseguest’s Choice,” and Haley and some other housemates could be gunning for her if she goes up for eviction.
“Wednesday’s episode picks up right after Haley’s nomination ceremony,” per Big Brother Network. “She tells us that she isn’t here for Melody’s ‘mean girl’ energy, but Taylor is ultimately her target because it would put the least amount of blood on her hands.”
Taylor has plenty of reasons to be nervous herself now that “she’s officially shifting into beast mode.” Taylor asked Haley why she was nominated and “Haley says it was because Taylor was the only one laughing when Jason was banging the teapot. Taylor immediately calls that out, points out that plenty of other people were laughing too. Haley doesn’t have much of a response, and it’s clear that everyone in her alliance is quickly losing patience with her.”
Lyric's maneuvers
Lyric appears concerned that she could become the house's next target. So she’s been working to build new alliances.
Lyric started talking with Kamu about working together, but it appears that her plan to save herself didn’t work.
“Kamu brings that idea to Haley, suggesting that maybe Drew shouldn’t just be a pawn anymore,” the recap noted. “Instead, he proposes evicting Drew this week and replacing him with Lyric. Haley admits she’s not opposed to Drew becoming the target, but she has zero interest in bringing Lyric into the fold.”
Haley has been looking for an excuse not “to get even more blood on her hands,” so she starts looking in Lyric’s direction. In the end, Taylor uses her Power of Veto to save herself and Haley names Lyric as her replacement.
“Lyric makes one final pitch, telling Haley that Mallory plans to nominate Chuk and Kamu,” Big Brother Network reported. “Unfortunately for Lyric, that strategy backfires. Instead of convincing Haley, it only reinforces Haley’s belief that Lyric has no loyalty if she’s willing to throw her closest allies under the bus. Haley never seriously wavered. There wasn’t much suspense here because she had already made up her mind.”
