What happened in episode 7?
Last week was “Dedication Week,” in which contestants danced to routines inspired by their loved ones. Frech danced to "Bloodline" by Mon Rovîa and dedicated the performance to his mom, who joined him onstage. During the introductory segment, Frech revealed that his mom quit her job as an actress when he was born.
The routine earned a strong 37/40 and high praise from the judges, including the first 10 score of the season from guest judge Kym Johnson.
“The first dance of the night and you’ve got us all crying up here,” Johnson said prior to giving out her score. “The emotional connection, the physical connection to that dance was so beautiful. Contemporary is all about finding your center and then going off and then extending beyond your limits, and you did that so incredibly.”
The other three judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli, were similarly impressed and each awarded Frech and his professional partner Daniella Karagach a 9 for the performance.
While there wasn’t an elimination last week, the hosts announced that this week will feature a double elimination. Kalshi traders are betting on Jackson Olson and Tyler Cameron to head home in the episode 8 elimination market.
Who could join Frech in the finals?
Dancing with the Stars could have as many as five couples competing in the finals, which will air on November 24, 2026.
As the field begins to narrow — this Tuesday's episode has already announced a double elimination — the Kalshi market is honing in on possible finalists. In addition to Frech at 94% odds, Kalshi traders are betting that Amber Glenn (88%), Harry Shum Jr. (76%), Julia Stiles (74%), and Maura Higgins (62%) will join Frech in the finale.
The battle for the fifth spot now belongs to Maura Higgins, who sits at 62% odds heading into Tuesday's double elimination. Jenna Dewan has surged to 51% and represents the biggest threat to Higgins's finale bid, while Tatyana Ali (41%) and Connor Wood (32%) also remain in the mix.
