Earlier this week, it appeared that Christian Hubicki was set to leave the island on tonight’s episode of Survivor. But that sentiment has flipped.
The market for tonight’s elimination shows an 85% chance that Dee Valladares will be the one who goes, followed by Hubicki at 13%, and Rick Devens at 2%.
What will Jeff Probst say?
An immunity idol might also be up for grabs in tonight’s episode.
Traders price the chances of host Jeff Probst saying “immunity idol” at 30%, followed by “comeback/come back” at 26%, and “dig deep” at 20%.
Who will win it all?
While there may have been a shift in the odds for tonight’s episode, traders are still backing Aubry Bracco as the castaway to beat for the 50th season of Survivor.
The markets show Bracco as the heavy favorite to win the season at 82%, followed by Cirie Fields at 11%, and Rizo Velovic at 3%.
What happened in the last episode?
Last week’s episode was a historic one for Survivor fans. The “Blood Moon Twist” led to the show’s first-ever triple elimination, and took Kamilla Karthigesu, Genevieve Mushaluk, and Colby Donaldson out of the competition.
Valladares earned the immunity idol last week while competing in the teal group. She also formed a strong alliance with Fields and Emily Flippen. But things got a little awkward when Benjamin “Coach” Wade entered the mix.
Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross reported that Coach fed “one of the worst, most unbelievable lies I have ever seen on Survivor” to Dee, claiming Flippen wanted to take her and two other castaways out of the competition. Whether that claim holds up remains to be seen tonight.
