ABC's Dancing with the Stars returns tonight, with Giada De Laurentiis still the odds-on favorite to head home first.

The TV chef’s chances in Kalshi’s Episode 1 & 2 elimination market are priced at 66%, followed by musician Taylor Hanson at 40% and Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron at 27%. The market has seen over $62,000 in volume at the time of this writing.

Who will be eliminated?

Giada De Laurentiis

Traders still seem to think that an injury could lead to De Laurentiis’ elimination. De Laurentiis is still on the slightly injured reserve list after bruising her middle toe during a rehearsal with her dance partner Alan Bersten.

So far, there is no indication the injury will prevent her from competing in Season 35.

“So, I had a great day at rehearsals today, but sadly, I busted my toe,” De Laurentiis revealed in an Instagram video.

Taylor Hanson

Hanson's musical background could give him an advantage on the dance floor, but he remains second on the first-elimination market at 40%.

His dance partner Britt Stewart told E! News that she disagrees. She said Hanson's experience performing with the pop-rock band Hanson gives him several advantages in the competition.

“There was a moment in rehearsal the other day where I’m like, he’s teaching me about music within my knowledge of music that I already have,” Stewart said. “And Taylor said it so many times: music and dance – they’re so connected. So it’s definitely a strength that I’m using this season.”

Harry Shum Jr.

Harry Shum Jr. also enters the competition with substantial dance experience. The Glee and Crazy Rich Asians actor is paired with professional dancer Jenna Johnson for Season 35.

Shum told People that his dance training doesn't necessarily give him a major advantage on Dancing with the Stars.

“I think everyone’s idea is like, ‘Oh, you dance, so you should be able to dance anything.’ And I mean, that’s just not true,” Shum said. “There are hundreds of styles, not dozens, hundreds all over the world.”

Who will win?

Meanwhile, Jenna Dewan still leads the winner market at 21%, followed by Banana Ball player Jackson Olson at 16% and Shum at 16%. The market has seen over $561,000 in volume at the time of this writing.

Dewan has also faced questions about whether her extensive dance background gives her an advantage. She worked as a backup dancer for music stars like Janet Jackson, Missy Elliott and Christina Aguilera. She also starred in movies like Step Up and hosted some dancing reality competitions on TV.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba pushed back on the idea that Dewan's dance background gives her an unfair advantage. She told Entertainment Weekly that “when you go from being a jazz dancer to a hip-hop dancer or all the other forms of dancing [to ballroom], the weight placement is so different.”

The takeaway:

Kalshi markets now predict

  • De Laurentiis being eliminated: 66%

  • Hanson being eliminated: 40%

  • Cameron being eliminated: 27%

  • Dewan winning Season 35: 21%

  • Olson winning Season 35: 16%

  • Shum winning Season 35: 16%
