The Netflix Top 10 charts, released every Tuesday, track the most viewed TV shows and movies on the global streaming platform. For the chart that will be published on September 29, Kalshi traders price the odds of Unabomber, the new true crime drama starring Jacob Tremblay and Russell Crowe, at 97% for No. 1.
In a separate market, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and Top Gun: Maverick are competing for the No. 2 spot on the Netflix US chart. Though neither film is a new release, both arrived on the streaming service in the past week. The Guy Ritchie-helmed World War II film from 2024 is currently leading at 98% odds, while the Tom Cruise film from 2022 is at 3%.
Kalshi traders also forecast strong viewership. Another market predicts at 95% odds that the No. 1 movie will receive at least 12 million views.

What are critics saying about ‘Unabomber’?
Unabomber is a true crime biopic chronicling the life of Ted Kaczynski, who conducted a nationwide mail bombing campaign between 1978 and 1995, killing three people and injuring 23 others. Jacob Tremblay, the former child actor best known for starring in the Oscar-winning Room opposite Brie Larson, stars as Kaczynski. Russell Crowe, Annabelle Wallis and Shailene Woodley all co-star.
Unabomber was met with negative reviews upon its release on September 25, 2026, currently holding a 21% Rotten Tomatoes score from critics. Richard Lawson at The Hollywood Reporter called the writing “starchy, frequently clichéd” and critiqued Tremblay’s performance as unable to “evoke the volatile storms of Kaczynski’s mind.”
However, Alison Foreman at IndieWire praised Tremblay’s turn as the Unabomber, while agreeing that the film itself misses the mark. “Tremblay is the real draw here…and proves an extraordinarily good fit for the slippery material,” she writes, while calling Unabomber “a troubled true crime account that’s often insightful but also dangerously simplistic in its retelling of historic events.”
Vulture critic Bilge Ebiri added that the film had “nothing to say,” noting that its lack of a thesis feels at odds with the central subject.
While critical response can certainly sway public opinion and behavior, it remains to be seen whether it will affect viewers from tuning in.
